OK, so I know it's been about a year since I posted...get over it! I don't have any really exciting news or anything, just trying to get back to a semi normal routine.
For those of you I haven't talked to in a long time, here is the breakdown... Back in 2007 I had a precious baby, Katelyn. Shortly after having that life changing and miraculous event, I was laid off. The economy has reaped havoc on the construction industry, and thus the fields of architecture and interior design. Recently I found out that the company eventually had to lay off everyone but the principals/co-owners. They are still a functioning company, but circling the tubes, if you catch my drift. Since then I have been claiming unemployment and trying to find a job, any job! I did work for Target for a short time over the holidays as seasonal help, but didn't get hired on after season. I have had a lot of time to sit and mope, wallow in my misfortune and am ready to get back out there and earn my keep. I am about to finish the Florida Real Estate Class, and will sit for the state exam soon. I have an interested broker, but am still researching firms.
I am really enjoying the time that I get to spend with my daughter, and love that I am making an impression on her. I don't know of a better way to fill ones life with love and happiness than to have a child. Maybe a few? The unconditional love that I receive from her and my husband is what has carried me through this hardship. I truly appreciate that. Thank you both! It's hard to believe it was 2 years ago when I gave birth to her, seems shorter. We are leaving it in God's hand when will add to our family, I do believe children are angels sent with blessings.
I will post as things arise, and maybe back date some post...like Katelyn's 2nd birthday and 4th of July...
Best wishes!
Kimberly
